There is no account system. The archive asks for no name, no address and no password, and every page, abstract and listing it holds can be read without identifying yourself.

The site

The pages set no cookies. They load no third-party scripts, no third-party images and no analytics of any kind. The typeface is served from this site rather than from a font host. Nothing on a page reports that the page was opened.

Search queries are carried in the address of the results page, as queries in a browser normally are. They are matched against the holdings and are not stored by the archive.

Correspondence

Letters sent to the address on the contact page are retained indefinitely. They are the only personal information the archive holds, and it was supplied deliberately.
