Reviewer Position Formation During the Assessment of Dispute Transcripts
Abstract: Gaze recordings from 62 reviewers assessing transcribed disputes show that a reviewer's eventual recommendation is predictable from the first 40 seconds of reading at 79 per cent accuracy. The referee reports were then coded on the instrument built for the transcripts, which did not distinguish between them. They have been added to the corpus.
