Outcomes Recorded in 1,240 Disputes: A First Register
Abstract: We present a register of outcomes for 1,240 two-party disputes, compiled under the criterion of arghXiv:2604.11238. An outcome is recorded where one party's position at the close of the dispute differs from their position at its opening, or where a party states that the matter is concluded. Outcomes were recorded in 1,240 cases. In 1,201 of these the recorded outcome is that the matter is concluded, as stated by one party; in 39 a position changed. We note that the register is the first of its kind and that no comparable figure exists against which to assess it.
